Interactive Fiction
Interactive Fiction (IF) is what a lot of people call "adventure games" or "text-based games". If you've ever played Zork, you know what I mean. Nowadays the fans have raised the bar on the quality of such games and they can be seen as a legitimate and quite distinct literary form. This is how I view them.
I first got involved in the IF scene in about 2003/2004. I played games, I beta-tested others and tried to participate in discussions. In 2005 I entered a game (Mix Tape) into the Annual Interactive Fiction competition. I am currently working on other games, and continue to beta-test for other authors.
Mix Tape
My first released game was Mix Tape. News, a summary, some notes and walkthroughs are available. [Download]
Convolution
The game I actually first worked on is Convolution. I began writing it in early 2004 and work continues. It is a much larger game than Mix Tape and has a fascinating base idea that I'm reluctant to mess up by releasing prematurely.
TADS 3 Foundation
I'm working on a tool for fast, programmatic prototyping for IF games. I have a game that I plan to write with it. At the moment it's still in pre-alpha.
