- ACT Writers supports a vibrant writing community in Canberra. They regularly hold workshops and competitions, and are nice folk if you get to meet them.

- Quality retreats designed for writers. They're quite busy so it's tough to get on one by yourself. Nevertheless, I've been before and am due to go back in Feb 2008. It's fantastic!
