Sites I'm involved in or involve me

Me on Facebook
Every uni student and their dog has a Facebook account (and only lamo's have Myspace pages).
My Last.fm page
Last.fm records data about what music you listen to and offers suggestions and ranks you against other listeners.
Me on IF Wiki
I exist on the IF Wiki, mostly because of my game Mix Tape.

People who are cool

Danielle Medek
She's artistic, scientific and truly unique. Check out her webcomic.
Dave Pretty
Dave's a musician, a scientist and a general cobbler of computery things. He generously gave me the hosting for this site. He's the only person I know whose love for Ben Folds surpasses my own.

Science links

Illuminating Science
A science blog written by my good friend Joel
Terry Tao's blog
Terry Tao is not just a great mathematician, but he's a great blogger as well. I am constantly amazed by his work.
The Quantum Pontiff
Dave Bacon is a quantum computation man, and a sensible blogger to boot.

Interactive Fiction links

rec.arts.int-fiction
Definitely The Place to discuss the theory and construction of IF.
rec.games.int-fiction
The main discussion area for IF games and competitions.
IF Comp
The Annual IF competition showcases many new (and hopefully good!) games every year. There are prizes up for grabs, as well as eternal glory.
IF Archive
Pretty much every IF game and system can be found here in this monumental IF archive.
IF Wiki
A wiki focussing on IF. It's new but the contributors are doing a great job.
Brass Lantern
An e-zine about IF, run by Stephen Granade. It's got all the latest news and some great articles there.
ifMUD
Quite simply, the website for the IF MUD.
TADS Homepage
TADS is my IF language of choice. You can get some great articles and the latest interpreter from this site.

Writing links

ACT Writers Centre
ACT Writers supports a vibrant writing community in Canberra. They regularly hold workshops and competitions, and are nice folk if you get to meet them.
Varuna Writers' Retreat
Quality retreats designed for writers. They're quite busy so it's tough to get on one by yourself. Nevertheless, I've been before and am due to go back in Feb 2008. It's fantastic!

Miscellaneous

Games Warehouse
I buy most of my computer games through these guys. I've had no problems with them whatsoever.
Scorptec
I buy all my computer hardware through these guys. They're helpful and reliable.
Anime Traffic
My last commercial plug, I buy all my anime from these guys. These guys are pretty cool. They offer personal suggestions for future reading with some orders.
Trailers @ Apple
High quality movie trailers courtesy of Apple. Hooray for Quicktime!
